2020-21 and 2019-20 Officers:
President/Founder (2018-present): Yewon LeeYewon established the JC Biology Olympiad chapter with the vision of sharing her passions in biology, to help develop the same excitement in aspiring biology students, and to advocate for students in STEM. Now in the fourth year of operation, she has brought together a diverse group of JC students for the club, all dedicated to expanding their knowledge in biology. Outside of school, Yewon has been consistently involved with scientific research as a means of developing her interests in the intersection of biology, chemistry, and applied mathematics. In addition to attending research conventions, she eagerly competes alongside Bio Olympiad members in the USABO and UToronto competitions. Yewon's research has been internationally recognized with a Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair Grand Award, and she is also a Chemistry national finalist, international HOSA champion, and AIME qualifier. In her free time, she enjoys playing basketball and mountain biking.

Vice President of Club Administration (2019-present): Nikhita MudiumNikhita Mudium is a senior and the Vice President of Biology Olympiad at JCHS. She prides herself in pushing the boundaries of science research and innovation in molecular Biology and neuroscience. Nikhita has successfully competed and placed highly in many research and biotechnology competitions including Exploravision and the Junior Sciences and Humanities Symposium (NJSHS). She is also a 2x International HOSA Qualifier as well as the 2020 Alabama Brain Bee Champion. Additionally, Nikhita enjoys being involved in her community through fundraising and organizing events for the JCHS Key Club and United Way. Other hobbies of hers include reading and playing the violin.

Vice President of Competitive Events (2019-present): Sarah GuoSarah is a rising junior at James Clemens High School. She has always enjoyed learning about the complexities of biology and the human body which plays a large role in why she would like to pursue medicine in the future. Sarah is part of the JC state-qualified Science Olympiad Team and has earned awards in both math and HOSA. She enjoys practicing her flute, playing tennis, and trying out new cooking recipes in her free time.

Secretary (2019-present): Devika ShankarDevika is in the graduating class of 2021 and she is passionate about biology as it is one of the few subjects that covers such a large scope, from microscopic cells to entire ecosystems, and because it allows for individuals to gain context to relate humans to the larger environment that they are part of. She has taken PreAP and AP Biology as well as three of the four courses in the Biomedical Sciences track to learn more about biology. She has participated and won awards in many math tournaments, participated in the National Chemistry Olympiad, and has knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, and Javascript. Apart from biology, Devika enjoys performing Indian classical dance and doing art commissions. She also shadows physicians of various specialties to gain insight on possible specialities to choose from for her future career in medicine.

Treasurer (2019-present): Neha SinghalNeha has a passion for Biology, specifically the area of genetics and anatomy, because she wants to explore new areas in fields like genetics and diseases, as well gain knowledge about the human body. She wants to learn about the anatomy of the body and help people with disorders and diseases. She has earned numerous medals in the Science Olympiad and started a new team called Science Bowl which nearly made semi-finals in regionals. Neha loves to find solutions, explore new ideas, and help others.
